Juana Said It Best!
To all my fellow Monica fans out there you all know by now that Monica's been taken some heat lately for who she is or who people think she's trying to portray...truth is Mo's been the same chick ever since she came on to the scene. And to be real honest I really don't care what anybody says 'cause I'ma love and support Mo 100% and then some like I have the past 12 years! But I just wanted to acknowledge my girl Juana from the AD forums...you truly said it best! I just had to post it up 'cause that's how strongly I feel about it! :-) I couldn't explain the whole situation any clearer...so lemme just get to it! LOL!

People will say shyt about any celeb... comes with the territory. Even Brandy fans on my site agree, some just hated Mo due to created beef by fans between her and Brandy
MONICA IS COOL...SHE IS WHO SHE IS! Monica BEEN had her image.. she aint no "purposely-die-my-hair-blond-kinda-chick-in-order-to-roll-with-the-industry" :nono: :dunno: HER, MARY J, FAITH EVANS, & KEYSHIA COLE will always be compared due to the tattoo look,etc. It's just the hood in them B) HUMANKIND ALWAYS WANTS TO PUT PEOPLE IN LITTLE BOXES... much easier on them to categorize. We never feel comfortable realizing that you can't always judge every1 and compare :rolleyes:
Monica been established, whether she sells today or not. She's proven she's still in the game. Like I said b4, SALES DOESN'T DETERMINE TALENT... I don't give a fucc if u selling platinum records years after years in this ever-changing lackluster music industry ..don't mean shyt if u really don't deserve it :nono:
I don't even think Monica planned on dropping ETBD... it was supposed to be a buzz single (I recalled seeing on SandraRose's site). It got bumped so much that they releasing a video I think...
Some may not like it, but compare it to "Dozen Roses" ... obviously Monica is bringing variety in her album. She's not changing for any1 though ... her music is staying close to her previous ones ... sounds alike and all :dunno:
WHETHER ANY1 LIKES IT... MO GONNA BE ON HELLA MAGAZINES, ETC IN THE UPCOMING WEEKS I HEAR!
